If you know me.. then you know how much I enjoy aesthetics. Being a cancer has predisposed me to spend much of my time and energy finding little things to make a home feel more like a home. The little details for a big picture.

My mind automatically color coordinates my music playlists, I shop for clothes with my eyes open first, then by closing my eyes.. because I want to feel how the fabric welcomes my skin.

I love being in absolute direct sunlight for just a couple of moments until I’m forced to let out a sigh, because I enjoy the weight of its warmth.

I spend much of my time finding the perfect photos to match my blog entries, to enhance its meaning, and to let my readers get a sense of what’s inside my head.

So with all of that said..

I think I’m going to switch to tumblr.

Last night was the first time I have EVER been egg’d. It happened before midnight, I heard a large bang against the door (I thought someone threw a rock at the house). When I opened the door all I could find was raw egg white and yolk dripping down the front of the house.

And I couldn’t help it.. but my initial reaction to this act of vandalism was

lunch with a friend

When we were younger, my dad would occasionally go on business trips to the bay area. They would last about a couple of days, and he’d come back with little pasalubongs (souvenirs in Tagalog) for my sister and me.

I remember getting calls at night while he was away, telling my sister and I where he was eating, and how the food was. He would briefly tell us about his day, then told us he loved us before we said Goodnight.

Dad once told me that you could eat the best food in the world,
but it wouldn’t taste AS good without someone to eat it with.

Lately I have discovered this to be very true. Eating lunch by yourself at Pho Vinam after class at the UV isn’t a good look lol. #loser

To eat good food with good people is probably one of the most simple, yet most cherished treasures in the world. Have you ever noticed how much laughter goes on after eating a good meal with a great friend? Perhaps one of my favorite things about sharing a meal is the gigglefit we have after. The world seems so much better after a shared meal.

True Story.

I attended a seminar at a convention after lunch a couple of years ago, and the speaker had said that he loved doing seminars after lunch.. because everyone in the room is more likely to agree with whatever you say. LOL

Hmm..That’s probably why business deals are centered around lunch..

I was once asked what my death row meal would be. The last meal I could have before death..

To which I responded, I don’t care what I’m eating, as long as I’m eating with someone I love.

I play back Game 7 in my head every chance I get. The parade is tomorrow and unfortunately since I have review class I won’t be able to make it this year. But big ups to the homies who will be there cheering our heroes on the path of glory.

Today is Father’s Day, and I wanna say HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all the papas and daddys out there. You did a good thing by helping bring life into this world.

I’ll be up early for a day chock-full of studying.
I got less than a month to train my brain
and beat the shit out of this test.
