The secret to living richly.

doesn’t necessarily require a lot of money.

So you’ve washed your face, brushed your teeth, peeled off your day clothes and hopped into the night ones, said your prayers like a good Catholic, or turned off your lights like a good energy saver

or both..

You sneak into the sheets take one last look at the ceiling before you slip into slumber and think to yourself

Where has the time gone?

Unfortunately there’s no philosophical mapquest to try and locate it. So in the end we try to make sense of everything that just happened.

I’ve been doing this a lot lately. It’s phenomenal, wonderful, and at times disturbing how time can fly. One day you’re wishing you were in elementary school wishing you were in high school, then you’re in high school wishing you were in college, and then you’re in college wishing you were in the working world, and before you know it, you’ve found yourself wishing that you could go back to the days where the only thing that stressed you out was not having a red crayon.

It seems that everyone has been wishing for the year to be “over already.” And during this time of year, everyone is so caught up in what they’re going to do “differently” in the New Year. Resolutions shemezolutions. You shouldn’t have to wait for a new number on the calendar to resolve to do anything. Be like Nike and just do it.

2008 was not the kindest, nor was it the cruelest year. But I can definitely tell you it was one of the most memorable.

Instead of looking at 2009 as another year with an agenda, I resolve to play more things by ear.

I also resolve to give more kisses on the cheek, hug tighter, stay longer, smile wider, laugh harder– live better.

My life will change, I’m going to be 21. I’m going to kick off the years of my life that everyone dreams about doing again. The time of unrestrained enthusiasm with an insatiable appetite to learn. And the gift of youth to start over in the events we make mistakes.

We’re in a recession, but we’re innovative and resilient. Money will go faster than it came. So why not enjoy what requires the least amount of money, but has the most value

and that is TIME.

May God Bless you with a happy, adventurous, prosperous and refreshingly New Year.

you never know what’s coming for ya ;]

All my love,
